With more than 50 years of experience, an exceptional location at the very heart of Paris, well-renowned Latin-American visiting professors and a varied offer of university and cultural events, the IHEAL stands as a leading institution in Europe for academic exchanges with Latin America.

The IHEAL, together with its “Pierre Monbeig” Library and Centre for Research and Documentation on the Americas (CREDA) put all their efforts and resources into providing students with a broad choice of different courses of excellence.

In addition, a number of visiting professors specialised in Latin-American societies, coming from universities of North and Latin America and Europe, contribute every year to the quality of IHEAL academic programmes and activities.
