The International Master is a joint training in the area of “Latin American Studies” in social sciences and humanities. It takes the form of an international specialization or of an European supplement to the existing Master’s degree delivered by each partner.

TRAINING PROGRAM

The International Master has duration of two years, is made of 4 semesters, for a total of 120 ECTS, with one period of compulsory mobility, and one other in option.
In Salamanca, the master is organized in 3 semesters + 1 semester of “international specialization” with a mobility to get 120 ECTS.
NB. In Vienna, the master is organized in 6 semesters (20ECTS per semester) to gain the 120 ECTS.

Multidisciplinary Studies on Latin America (24 ECTS)
Elective Courses (6 ECTS)

      Semester 2
Specialized Studies on Latin America I:
Seminars and workshops + Courses (24 ECTS)
Elective Courses (6 ECTS)

      Semester 3
Specialized Studies on Latin America II:
Seminars and workshops + Courses (24 ECTS)
Elective Courses (6 ECTS)

      Semester 4
Research (30 ECTS)
Master Research paper (memory, thesis, dissertation, etc..)

The research paper will be realized and evaluated in their home university, under the direction of a supervisor of this university. Each student from the International Master have a co-direction of (one of) the universitie(s) that have made their (s) semester (s) of exchange.

TITLE / DEGREE

Students will receive the Master’s degree of their home university with the international specialization or the European supplement.
In this additional document, will be specified the official name of each partner university as well as the courses and credits earned in the host universitie(s).
