How to find the ideal job which will value your different skills

What are the opportunities that exist in the international institutions? What should you know before applying? The presentation will provide some insights to understand what are the type of jobs, skills and sector that these institutions are searching for. It will also provide a description of how ‘projets’ works and what are the types of jobs associated from their design, implementation and evaluation. Finally some of the work recently undertaken in Burundi and Haiti will be presented. 

 

 

Barbara Coello is a senior rural economist who has been working for international institutions in the last decade. The focus of her work has been related to the food system, working in different regions in different types of roles. She holds a PhD in Development Economics from the Paris School of Economics-  Paris 1- INRA, a MBA in finance from the TEC de Monterrey and a BA in econometrics from the Toulouse School of Economics.
